I would like to welcome my friends to my little area here at
the Rainbow Bridge.
It is wonderful up here, always sunny and no
pain and suffering, and we can play and eat and sleep together.
There are meadows and hills for every one of our friends that come here.
Our health will be purrfect forever and we will be full of strength  just as we once were.
We can run and play with our strong bodies once again and run to meet our
friends that have come to the Bridge so we can be reunited.

Now we can do the things we did before, and it will be all the time. Just think that
we have nothing to fear. No more illness or being weary or tired.
Our bodies can be strong again here at my little place at the
Rainbow Bridge.

I'd like the memory to be a happy one
I'd like to leave an after-glow
of smiles
when my life is done.
Id like to leave an echo whispering softly
down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times,
and bright sunny days.
I'd like your tears of sadness
to dry before the sun
of happy memories that I leave
When my life is done.

As much as I loved the life we had
and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew
my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wonderous image then
 of a place that's trouble-free
where all of us can meet again
 to spend eternity.
I saw the most beautiful Rainbow,
and on the other side
were meadows rich and beautiful
-- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows
as far as the eye could see
were animals of every sort
 as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body
was fresh and healed and new
and I wanted to go run with them,
but I had something left to do.
I needed to reach out to you,
 to tell you I'm alright.
That this place is truly wonderful,
then a bright glow pierced the night.
'Twas the glow of many candles
shining bright and strong and bold
and I knew then that it held your love
in its brilliant shades of gold.
For although we may not be together
in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord
that no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me,
 we're never far apart,
if you look beyond the Rainbow
 and listen with your heart.

April 27,2007~    Tim had a good three weeks with no problems and was a happy cat until yesterday April 26, 2007, and was very very sick. His body was limp and listless and he looked terrible this morning with no energy. He is in with the vet and they have been running tests on him. We were informed that maybe his kidneys are shutting down. Not good news for us. I was hoping for some better news for Tim. I'm not ready to let go of him at this time. My poor boy.
His brother, Andy is here beside me snuggling and rubbing my arm to try and make me feel better. What a day!

Timothy has passed today and we miss him so very much. He was a very special cat and our first baby. We went to his exam room and the vet brought him in and lay
him down and we spoke about Tim's tests and that his kidneys were shutting down. He looked like he was ready to leave us and didn't respond to us when we talked to him. We knew that it was time to put him down so he wouldn't suffer anymore. He looked worse than when I took him into the animal hospital this morning. It just wasn't our Tim, and he was dying. Our poor boy. I know he is free from suffering and in a better place and playing with the other kitties that has passed on. It is very hard to lose this kitty as he was the King of our cat family. We would call Tim, "Mr. Majestic," because he was so poised in appearance, such an honarable kitty, like "Royalty, when he would sit so straight or lay as he rested or napped. He was so beautiful too.So good-natured. sweet tempered, gentle as a lamb.
He was such a good cat and was very well liked at his vet clinic. He stole the show!
We helped him to go to his place with God. The vet injected the injection that was to take him to a better place and it was very very hard to watch him pass into Eternal Life.
Bless you dear Timothy. We will miss you so much and your sweet meow when you would want your food and your Pet fountain filled with the water that you craved. Thank you sweet Timmy for coming into our lives as you were the most wonderful cat in the world!! We will never forget you ever!

Here is a nice poem for you to keep, Mom and Dad.
I know that you will like it. It is very special for you
and me.

Poem For Cats
And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.

But don't they understand? asked God
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined. For all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is .... forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am .... forever and ever and ever.
